FAQs
When do we board? All boarding information can be downloaded in PDF form from
the Prices, Booking and Boarding Page.
Is parking available? Parking is available near the
vessel. Drive directly to the boat to unload your baggage, and then we will direct you. Please
reserve a space with us at the time of booking. We charge £5 per night after you arrive.
Can I come alone? Yes but we are very popular so we will
charge a special rate which is shown in our booking leaflet.
I am partially disabled, do I need to tell you? Since our holidays take
place on a ship, you must warn us of any mobility problems that you have in advance so we can be
prepared to help in any way necessary upon your arrival. Our gangplank has railings on both sides
and folding wheelchairs can be brought on board.
Is there a power socket in the cabins? Yes, every cabin has a 240V power
socket suitable for small hairdryers, phone chargers etc. Please note that they cannot be used for
high powered hair dryers or portable immersion heaters or kettles. There is also a power socket for
electric razors in the bathrooms.
Can we make tea and coffee in our cabins? We have to manage our power
consumption very carefully and unfortunately we cannot provide tea and coffee in every cabin.
However, self-service tea, coffee and chilled water is available in the saloon throughout the
day.
Can I bring my own alcohol? Our vessel is licensed under the licensing Act
2003. Alcohol purchased off the premises cannot be consumed in the licensed areas of the
vessels.
Can you cater for special diets? Yes, we frequently have customers who need
special diets. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan and menus suitable for diabetics are all
available as long as you warn us at the time of booking.
What happens to my deposit payment? For your peace of
mind, deposits for our holiday cruises all go into a trust account where they cannot be released
until your cruise is complete.
Is there hanging space in the cabins? Yes, there is ample
hanging space for up to a weeks worth of clothes! There are about 10 hangers in each cabin but the
crew can supply you more if needs be.
What about my suitcase? There is plenty of space to store
luggage under the bed. We have yet to see a case that doesn't fit (and there have been some giant
ones over the years!)
What if someone needs to get hold of me whilst I am on board?
Mobile phone reception can be limited on board sometimes but you can bring your mobile phone,
or the vessel has its own mobile phone number. This number is in your boarding information if you
have booked directly with us.
